These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your membership in ADDVANCE Network (“we”, “us”, “our”). By subscribing to or using your membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms and any other policies we adopt. If you do not agree, please do not become a registered member or use general member-only features.
Membership Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age in your jurisdiction) to join.
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information as requested during your registration. You are responsible for updating your information if it changes.
Membership Types & Benefits
We may offer different levels or types of membership (e.g., basic member, senior member, associate). Each level may have different benefits, fees, features, and duration.
The specific benefits associated with your membership type will be clearly described at the time of signup, including access to events, resources, networks, content, or other privileges.
Membership benefits become accessible only after payment is made.
To activate your membership, you must register through our platform and pay the applicable fee for your chosen membership plan.
Fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in these Terms or as required by law.
We may change membership fees at any time. If we do so, the new fee applies only for renewals or new memberships, unless otherwise stated.
Term, Renewal & Cancellation
Membership is valid for the duration you selected (e.g., monthly, annually).
Unless you cancel before the renewal date, your membership will automatically renew under the same terms and fees (unless they have changed, in which case we will notify you ahead of renewal).
You may cancel your membership at any time. Upon cancellation:
- You will continue to have access until the end of the current paid period.
- You will not be charged for subsequent renewal periods.
Use of Member Services
You may use our resources, content, networks, or events only in accordance with the membership type you selected.
You agree not to share your membership credentials with others or allow unauthorized access.
You must comply with all rules governing use of services, including event rules, community policies, or content usage policies, as applicable.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your membership (or access to some or all benefits) if you violate these Terms.
Intellectual Property
All content made available through ADDVANCE (documents, training material, webinars, branding, etc.) is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
You may use such content for your personal or organizational benefit only for as long as you have an active membership, and only in ways permitted. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or make commercial use without our express written consent.
Privacy and Data Protection
We collect and use personal information you provide in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By becoming a member, you consent to the collection, storage, and use.
We may send you membership-related communications (e.g., renewals, updates, events). You may opt out of non-essential communications as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ADDVANCE will not be responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your membership or use of any services/benefits.
Our total liability to you for any cause under these Terms will not exceed the amount of membership fee you have paid in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the liability.
Disclaimers
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to membership services. There may be times when access is unavailable (for maintenance, technical issues, etc.).
We do not warrant that membership will meet all your expectations or that all content or services will be error-free.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your membership with immediate effect if:
- You breach these Terms.
- We suspect that fraud, abuse, or other misconduct may be occurring.
- We are required to do so by law or a governmental authority.
Upon termination, all rights and benefits associated with membership end. However, termination does not relieve you of outstanding obligations (e.g., unpaid fees).
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on our site and indicate the effective date.
If changes are material, we will notify you (e.g., via email) in advance. Continuing use of your membership after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (or as applicable) without regard to conflict of laws rules.
Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or membership shall be resolved first by good faith negotiation; if not resolved, through mediation or arbitration in Nigeria, or in a court of competent jurisdiction as agreed.
Miscellaneous
Severability: If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, that part shall be modified or severed, but the rest remains in full force.
Waiver: If we don’t enforce a right under these Terms immediately, it doesn’t mean we’ve waived it.
Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with any policies (privacy, refund, etc.), are the entire agreement between you and ADDVANCE Network regarding membership, and it’s subject to other terms relating to your membership benefits and vice versa.
